What about Velcro? In one case slice would stick to the window sill and the other to the bottom of your Xmas candles.
I would endeavour bending tin strips (prob. ane/2" to one/4" wide) into a shape that would hold down the base of operations of the candlestick making the strips long enough to fit under the window. Making the window and the strips hold it in place. And then I would somehow enhance the cord up (tape, loving cup hooks, staples etc.) considering it'southward probably the weight of the cord that is pulling the candlesticks off, or at least not helping any. You could put lilliputian pieces of greenery to hide the metal. My Papa ever used copper strips for projects like this, but whatsoever metal that y'all could cut with scissors or tin can snips and curve with pliers would work. He used to cut old coffee cans apart likewise. Or perhaps a strong wire, bent into the right shape. I would however put some type of adhesive under each one, even floral clay may assist. But the main thing is raising upward the cord. Good luck. Hope this Helps. Just Proceed Trying and I know you'll effigy out something. Merely remember, Yous are smarter the the candlestick.
Poster putty may piece of work. Information technology looks like bubble gum and removes leaving no residue. You can put a wad underneath each candle. I bought information technology at Walmart simply you can probably pick information technology up at a diverseness of stores.
I just thought of something else. How about push pins? Some to brace the back of the holder and some to concur up the string (not into the cord though). Still something pasty on the lesser and Ivy, greenery, bows from ribbon etc. to hide the pins.
My suggestion is to use air-dry modeling dirt to requite a apartment bottom to each candle. Onto your narrow window ledge, thumbtack or staple strips of white foam lath broad plenty to hold the candle holders. This expanding shelving can be busy with some greenery and bows, or simply left if the ledge won't exist seen from outside. Merry 12 Days! ☺️
Very clever idea! Cheers so much!

Do your kids have whatever Empty-headed Putty you could attempt?
Hey, I honey the Velcro thought. Y'all could just leave it one the sill for adjacent year and non even worry about getting it off. OR, if y'all do want information technology off "Goo Gone" would go rid of the rest left by the lesser piece.... just similar the one comment stated you may have to bear on upwards the paint later on, (if they are painted). Yes, my Papa was Very Clever. I miss him everyday!

I apply Tacky Wax. I use information technology nether my figurines so that they won't autumn over. I use it backside a picture frame that seems to get crooked at present and and then. I bought mine at a hobby store and it is then sticky. Should be good for under your candles on the windowsill. Mine says (on the chapeau) Bard's Tacky Wax.
I'k going to wait for this product at Michaels craft shop. Cheers!
